Predefined Configurations

Intention

Our aim is to deliver a "click here to install and start retrieving data in 90 minutes" solution. Giving you an empty tool won't do that trick.

Even if squid by arc46 would come without any predefined configurations you could create all configurations you need on your own. But why should you? We can do most of the work once for the benefit of all of our customers.

squid by arc46 comes with an ever-growing amount of predefined configurations that just work out-of-the-box and should solve the majority of your data needs. You will almost certainly need to adapt some configurations to your specific requirements. We simply have no way of knowing about that obscure 'u_something_very_important_for_you' field you've defined. But at least you don't have to start from scratch and only have to configure where you diverge from the standard.
